Experience behind the delivery
TideMoor is led by Lois Kirtlan a business leader, founder and event curator with extensive experience across business, hospitality, public sector, education, and cultural organisations.
Lois has built and grown successful businesses, developed major community intitatives, delivered public-sector projects and created events that bring people and organisations together.
She successfully bid writes, plans, leads and delivers large scale events and projects as the Director of Operations at TideMoor, the community and events arm of Elsium Solutions.
She is a succssful business founder and also a Charity founder, Chair and Trustee, and has served on organisational committees.
Leading a dedicated team at TideMoor, Lois oversees all aspects from idea to delivery.

Whitby Lit Fest 2026
Whitby’s Literature Festival is a celebration of writing and authors, past and present, in many genres, including novels, short stories, plays and poetry.
The Whitby Lit Fest returns 19th-22nd November 2026.
Whitby Fire & Ice Festival
A spectacular winter event featuring ice sculptures, fire performances, folklore, family activities and community celebration on the Yorkshire coast.
